Cisco RV325 and RV320 Routers Benefit from Firmware 1.3.1.10

Cisco has made available a new firmware version compatible with its RV320 and RV325 router models, namely 1.3.1.10, which adds support for FlexVPN and OpenVPN features, and includes several other fixes.

Specifically speaking, this update fixes the DHCP Range overlap error, the IPv6 continuous pings that might cause restarts, as well as the IP & MAC bindings that broke DHCP server functionality.

In addition to that, the producer has managed to make uppercase letters work in CLI command, remove a Port Forwarding error, fix the remote management access intermittent hangs, and correct SIP ALG that wouldn’t modify all fields.

Moreover, firmware 1.3.1.10 also resolves the WAN port functionality, the incorrect error shown for USB modem when NSD was disabled, and several other issues as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to installation, first of all, make sure that your router’s current firmware package isn’t either newer or matching the present release, and only afterwards save the downloadable file.

If all is ok, log into the unit’s web interface using the appropriate username and password, and navigate to the firmware upgrade section. Afterwards, search and select the newly downloaded firmware file, and wait patiently as the router does its job.
